Switch’s Voice Chat App Is Available… And It Is Chaotic!

As you are unable to voice chat with your console, you have to utilize your phone to do so…

The Switch app is now available on iOS and Android, but… honestly, just look at the image below. Is it looking complicated? It is, isn’t it? If you compare how easy it is to voice chat on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One (just hook up a headset, and you’re good to go), Nintendo seems to have shot itself in the leg here.

Kotaku reports that if you want to hear both the game audio and the chat, you either have to use a one-sided headset or get a splitter. Also, switching to another app or taking a phone call on the phone, which you use for the Splatoon 2 chat will disconnect players from the room until they return to the Switch Online app. (And there’s no public chat either.)

The big N has a long way to improve here.

Still, she likes puzzle and story-oriented games, like Sherlock Holmes: Crimes & Punishments, which is her favourite title. She also played The Sims 3, but after accidentally killing a whole sim family, swore not to play it again. (For our office address, email and phone number check out our IMPRESSUM)
