There is no month without a PlayStation Network maintenance.
As we have grown used to seeing a new firmware with not a lot of changes outside stability for the PlayStation 4 coming every three weeks or so, the maintenance is usually scheduled to happen once every month. Sony displayed on their status website that they will begin their regular maintenance of the PlayStation Network on August 15, at 4 AM at your local timezone. It will take roughly thirty minutes, and all three platforms (PlayStation 4, PS3, PlayStation Vita) will be affected.
As usual, the PlayStation Store, the PlayStation Video, and Account Management will not be available during the maintenance, but you can still sign in, play games, and access „most” applications.
