Cross-Play: Another Round Of Talks Between Microsoft And Sony

The Xbox One and the PlayStation 4 still has no cross-play between them. Therefore, Xbox‘ head of marketing tries to talk to Sony once again.

Aaron Greenberg gives it a shot despite Sony shooting down the cross-play for Rocket League, Minecraft, and recently, ARK: Survival Evolved. He told the following to GameReactor: „We’re talking to Sony [about crossplay], we do partner with them on Minecraft [as Microsoft now owns Mojang] and of course we would like to enable them to be part of that; one community, to unite gamers. So we’re talking to them, and we’re hopeful that they’ll be supportive of it.”

Does Microsoft try to strengthen its position with cross-play? Sony is miles ahead of them at the moment, and Nintendo is also catching up at a rapid pace with the Switch, which launched barely six months ago. Previously, Microsoft was also against cross-play, don’t forget that…

She also played The Sims 3, but after accidentally killing a whole sim family, swore not to play it again. (For our office address, email and phone number check out our IMPRESSUM)
