The Final Fantasy XIV series premieres on Netflix on September 1

Dad of Light tells the story of a father and son who strengthens their relationship thanks to the Square Enix MMORPG.

Based on a true story, the Final Fantasy XIV: Dad of Light television series will premiere on Netflix on September 1 following its passage through the Japanese market, where this emotional production was broadcast on April 30.

Known in Japan as FFXIV: Hikari no Otousan, Dad of Light tells the story of a father and son who improve their personal relationship thanks to the fantastic MMORPG of Square Enix, in which they live great team adventures without the father really knowing who he is his traveling companion.

The premiere of Dad of Light coincides with the 30th anniversary of this veteran Square Enix franchise. Netflix has celebrated the announcement with a new trailer in Spanish.
