The Frozen Wilds DLC, which is just a few days away from launch, got two videos.
In the base game, there are several references to the Banuk tribe, who will show up in Horizon: Zero Dawn’s The Frozen Wilds DLC. They live in the most northern, snowy part of the map, at The Cut, and their nomad lifestyle allows them to live peacefully with both nature and the machines. In the first video, Jan-Bart van Beek (Guerrilla‘s art director), John Gonzalez (narrative director), Roland Ijzermans (lead concept artist), and Ben McCaw (lead writer) talk about how they created the tribe from scratch. We’d have watched more than four minutes of this process…
The second video contains twelve minutes of gameplay, featuring the Survivor mission. Horizon: Zero Dawn’s The Frozen Wilds will launch on November 7 for twenty bucks, but it will be part of the game’s Complete Edition re-release from December 5/6 (North America/Europe), exclusively on PlayStation 4.
