The French company did not write virtual reality yet.
We haven’t seen many VR games/experiences from major publishers yet. Think about it, aside from Square Enix’ fishing Final Fantasy XV, can you think of anything significant from Electronic Arts or Ubisoft? Sure, the latter company had Star Trek: Bridge Crew, but other than that, they didn’t utilize their franchises. Two of them will now get virtual reality experiences in arcades.
One of them will be Virtual Rabbids: The Big Ride, with the help of LAI Games. The players can ride three virtual roller coasters, utilizing the HTC Vive and the D-Box. This experience was already presented in Florida in the middle of November. The other announcement concentrates on Assassin’s Creed. Assassin’s Creed VR is going to be an interactive and immersive experience, co-developed with Triotech. It will require roughly three square meters of space, and it’s going to be located in the Montreal Ubisoft Centre, in Pointe-Claire.
VR arcades. Twenty-twenty-five years ago, we thought differently of arcades, but now, they might be moving towards virtual reality. How much of interest will there be for VR experiences?
