Metro Exodus‘ new trailer is called „The Aurora” – Deep Silver and 4A Games plan to launch the game in Autumn 2018 on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. Have a look at the post-apocalyptic Moscow, then Spartan Rangers, go!
As expected, Death Stranding was also out at The Game Awards. We got an eight-minute trailer of Hideo Kojima’s next game, and we still have no idea what we just saw! Unfortunately, there’s no gameplay either yet.
Ulf Andersson, who previously created the Payday franchise, is now working with his new team, 10 Chambers Collective, on a game called GTFO. It is going to be a four-player, cooperative action-horror game with a 2018 release window on PC. Payday mixed with Left 4 Dead? You bet!
Media Molecule, the creators of LittleBigPlanet, also showed up with a trailer for Dreams that has been in development for a while. On the PlayStation Blog, we also read that it will be out in 2018. Expect more details about it at the PlayStation Experience!
The Astronauts announced a dark, fantasy FPS called Witchfire. After The Vanishing of Ethan Carter, this is a massive change by the developers, and seeing how the co-owners of the team are also in the same position with People Can Fly (Bulletstorm, Painkiller), the similarities are present. The game currently is in development for PC.
A Way Out, which was announced in June, got a release date – Hazelight’s (Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons) game will launch on March 23 on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. The cooperative prison escape could be experienced with just one copy of the game, as our friend can use a free trial to experience the story. (We still love how the director, Josef Fares, just said „f_ck The Oscars!”)
A double dose of Bayonetta to end. First off, the first two games are getting overhauled, which means Bayonetta 1 and 2 will be available on the Nintendo Switch from February 16. (Together, they’ll cost 60 bucks – you’ll get Bayonetta 2 on a cartridge and a code to download the first game, similarly to Resident Evil: Revelations’ recent Switch ports.) Amiibo-support, local wireless co-op, and video capturing will all be included!
Oh, PlatinumGames is already working on the third Bayonetta game. It is going to be a Switch-exclusive title!
