THQ Nordic picked up a 4-5-year-old game.
A brief background story: King Art Games (The Book of Unwritten Tales, now they are working on Iron Harvest) released this game as The Raven: Legacy of a Master Thief on Steam in July 2013, followed by an Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 port in early 2014. It was an episodic point-and-click murder investigation game. As a similar title, we can point to The ABC Murders, which we reviewed in the past. (It was an alright game.)
THQ Nordic will bring this game out again in its entirety as The Raven Remastered on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PC, and Mac with completely remastered animations, lighting, hair, and full HD resolution with new languages added for subtitles. „London, 1964. An ancient ruby is stolen from the British Museum. At the crime scene: a raven feather. Is somebody trying to follow in the footsteps of The Raven, the legendary master thief who disappeared years before? Constable Anton Jakob Zellner finds himself in the middle of the kind of murder mystery he so far only knew from reading his favorite crime novels. Nothing is what it seems. Everyone has something to hide. And the Raven is always one step ahead…,” the press release says.
The game will launch on March 13 on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PC, and Mac. Why is this game getting re-released?
