Tomb Raider: Mattel And Their Unbelievable Cross-Over!

Nobody would have expected such a cross-over to happen.

Mattel thought that it would be an excellent idea to release a figure that combines Barbie with Tomb Raider. Her look is based on Alicia Vikander, who is going to be Lara Croft in the next Tomb Raider movie. There’s also a price tag for „Barbielara” – it will cost thirty dollars, although the package will also contain a map, an axe, a journal, a stand, and a certificate of authenticity. (They probably want to avoid getting the figure bootlegged – don’t worry, Mattel, there’s probably going to be a copy of the certificate, too…)

With this cross-over, Mattel wants to advertise the movie – the Tomb Raider reboot will be premiering in the American cinemas on March 16. Until then, we’ll try to find our jaw on the floor…
