Take all this information with a grain of salt… and there’s a lot to dissect.

On Reddit, a topic surfaced where Bandai Namco got into the crosshair. Someone believes that they were wrongfully fired from them, and since they had no NDA to sign, they revealed a lot to the topic opener (who previously was correct about several information before official announcements: Metroid Prime 4 developed by Bandai Namco, Injustice 2 – TMNT DLC, Street Fighter V – 3rd season characters, Dragon Ball FighterZ – season pass…).

Soul Calibur VI will open with 22 characters (originally it could have been 24) at launch with six more as DLC (but this likely have changed, as the information is apparently a month old). A few characters: Hwang, Talim, Grøh’s adoptive father is named Friderich (Frederick?), Maxi’s lover named Jacker, and Roronoa Zoro from the One Piece anime/manga as the guest character. Three out of the six DLC characters: Zasalamel, Cervantes, and a female guest character… but Zasalamiel might be a character in the base game.

One Piece World Seeker will feature customizable character costumes, as well as the option to play as the entire Straw Hat Pirates crew. It will also include DLC costumers from other franchises (Dragon Ball, Naruto, Toriko, Tekken, My Hero Academia, and Final Fantasy), and the game would launch in December!

Now, a paragraph for short, new information: Dragonball Xenoverse 3 is CURRENTLY not in development, but there’s a Dragon Ball action-RPG in pre-production. It would be set before DBZ. A new single-player game based on JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure is in pre-production for the Switch from CyberConnect2 (who made most of the Naruto games). Bandai Namco also gained rights to use the following anime franchises: Tiger Mask W, Kuroko no Basket (Kuroko’s Basketball), Miss Kobayashi’s Dragon Maid, Yuri on Ice, and Kakegurui.

Dragon Ball FighterZ‘s second season’s DLC characters are apparently completed – the leaker got fired the day after they started translating the paperwork. The packs would be the following: Tapion and Gogeta, Muten Roshi and Videl with Great Saiyaman, Raditz and Zarbon, and Cabba and Kale with Caulifla. The season 1 characters (Broly, Bardock, Normal Goku, Normal Vegeta, Vegito Blue, Merged Zamasu, 17, and Cooler) would be out by July. A quick turn to the video: Tomoko Hiroki, the game’s producer said that the team knows about the connectivity issues, and they are working on fixing them. However, Hiroki said that the first patch would not fix everything right away.

Phew. That’s a lot to digest for this Sunday, isn’t it?
