Sony Bans the Seduction Simulator From The PlayStation Store!

Before it was about to be available, Sony decided that the game about how to pick up girls is not meant to be sold on the PlayStation Store.

Super Seducer defines itself as „the world’s most realistic seduction simulator.” On Steam, it’s already available for ten dollars, but the PlayStation 4 version is not going to happen. The game’s main character is Richard La Ruina, who gives players tips on how to approach women in places like bars or coffee shops.

He told Motherboard that he has nothing to comment about this sudden ban. Currently, the game has 55 reviews on Steam, which are mostly positive, but the first, pre-release review says the following: „It’s sh*t. Also, creator went out of his way to censorship any and everyone he could while also abusing the youtube DMCA system like a massive douche.”

„This is not a dumb FMV game. It’s something that has a lot of thought going into it. We were careful to make sure that the women are all strong in it. [We made sure that] I get severely dealt with when I’m behaving incorrectly. I think that it’s a lot deeper. It’s easy to dismiss when you see pickup artist and then FMV, but it’s a lot deeper and smarter than you might get,” La Ruina told PlayStation LifeStyle.

Still, it’s interesting to see that Sony doesn’t comment why the game is not going to show up on the PlayStation Store (they tend to not comment on many things…), and the topic itself is also intriguing, too. Perhaps Sony should start to get rid of the shovelware on the PlayStation Store. (One recent example is Sword of Fortress: The Onomuzim.)
