Lara Croft‘s new adventures will be announced today.
The franchise’s website only writes that it is going to be revealed at 6 AM Pacific / 9 AM Eastern today. However, if we look at the source code, we find more information than that. For example, the release date and even the target platforms are hidden there. The new Tomb Raider game will likely not be a timed console-exclusive, as the code mentions the PlayStation 4 and the PC, as well as the Xbox One.
And yes, the teaser trailer did get leaked – you can find it on Facebook here or get a download link here – the video might have played either before or after the new Tomb Raider movie in a French movie theatre… and since we see either Mayan or Aztec pyramids in the background, the game will likely have a Central American/Mexican location, too.
The release date, according to the website’s source code, will be September 14, on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC! If there’s more interesting information in the announcement, we’ll come back to Lara…
