Cyberpunk 2077: Is It Coming To PlayStation 5, Too?

CD Projekt RED might be making its long-awaited game for the next console generation, too.

The devs’ speech at Pareto Securities‘ event talks a lot about Cyberpunk 2077, and it has a slide that caught our attention. It says „rich, true-to-life visuals built on current and next-generation technology.” This sentence is hinting at something.

Next generation technology is aimed at consoles, and seeing how Cyberpunk 2077 is a multiplatform title, the PlayStation 5 (which was rumored to launch as early as the second half of this year, which is hard to believe…) and the next Xbox would also get the game aside from the usual PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC triumvirate.

As CD Projekt RED hasn’t made a multi-generation game yet, the Polish team might face a new challenge. However, this slide might have just confirmed another rumor that said Sony sent out the dev kits for the next PlayStation earlier this year…

This year’s E3 looks more and more ominous.
