Was the first game’s re-release a false illusion?
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2‘s new version first showed up on the Italian Amazon, and it was already suspicious there – compared to the first Modern Warfare re-release, it was just 20 dollars instead of 40, and we may just know why there is a massive difference in pricing…
Eurogamer confirmed that the game exists and the price is real, and they also informed us that there would be no multiplayer in a game. So, one of the key selling points of Call of Duty will not be present!? Well, dear Activision Blizzard, what a thoughtful decision!
Also, the developers wouldn’t be Raven Software but Beenox, who were responsible for the first game’s remaster’s campaign (they formerly made Spider-Man games). Sure, the No Russian mission could be still memorable for some, but the campaign itself will not be making the re-release sell well, especially nine years after its original release.
Apparently, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 Remastered will launch on April 20 on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. The same day as God of War does. Activision didn’t even announce the game yet!
