Sometimes even Peter Parker needs a bit of help. Finally, there is some information about side content, too!
GameInformer will talk a lot about Spider-Man this month, and they provided another new article of Insomniac Games‘ game. They introduced three gadgets. The first one, Tripwire, can be put on walls to web our unexpecting enemies, or it clings on them to make our job of getting rid of them easier than before, as it makes them fly to their partners…
Web Bomb functions a bit like a grenade: it shoots web to nearby enemies, who get stuck in them, and we can also upgrade them to make their time being unable to move more than before.
The Spider-Drone was also mentioned. We already knew that it’s a pre-order bonus, but Insomniac said that it would be available in-game for everyone regardless. This gadget also shoots out web, and it can also act as a distraction for our enemies, too.
We can also write about side content, too. From simple bank robberies to Mr. Negative’s Inner Demons, there will be a lot of activities that could include Black Cat, or getting rid of Wilson Fisk’s bases, or doing some missions for Task Master. We can also help Harry Osbourne, who will not be nearby, to wrap up his investigations. The background/origins story of Peter Parker will be told by backpacks of Peter scattered throughout New York City. These will contain audio logs. There’s more than that, but Insomniac doesn’t want to spoil everything.
Spider-Man will launch on September 7, only on PlayStation 4.
