Respawn silently confirmed something that could be going against Electronic Arts’ schedule.
Respawn Entertainment, who mostly worked on Titanfall games up to this point, announced in May 2016 that they are developing a Star Wars title. Vince Zampella, the head of Respawn, gave a name to it during the EA Play conference: it is going to be called Star Wars: Jedi Fallen Order!
Zampella also said that the fallen Jedis’ story will be set between the III and the IV Star Wars movies when Jedis were hunted, and that it will launch in the 2019 holiday season, presumably for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
However, Battlefront first launched in November 2015, then in November 2017. November 2019 would suit Zampella’s release window. Now, either DICE’s game (as it’s almost sure that they are doing another Battlefront…) will launch close to Respawn’s (which happened last year with Titanfall 2…), or Respawn’s game gets pushed to early 2019… or there will be no Battlefront III after all.
There may be a lot of events yet, though.

From @Respawn comes a brand-new action adventure game which tells an original @StarWars story around a surviving Padawan set shortly after the events of Star Wars: Episode III – Revenge of the Sith.
