Telltale Games announced it’s partnership with Netflix and this new relationship between the two companies can bring some exciting things for us, gamers.
The studio that is well-known in the industry by its story-driven titles (such as The Walking Dead, The Wolf Among Us, Batman, etc.), Telltale Games, just started to work on another existing IP adaptation, this time on Netflix’s big hit show, Strange Things. It will be an episodic adventure game with a unique story and characters, but of course, some characters could appear in it from the show as well.
The partnership between the companies does not end here, however. This fall Minecraft: Story Mode will release on Netflix, specifically designed for TVs as an interactive series. Is this can be the future of television series?
Telltale is releasing the first episode of The Walking Dead’s final season on August 14th by the way, so it’s understandable that they want to get something big in the place of TWD once it’s finished.
