One of the pillars of Bethesda is busy nowadays (Fallout 76, as well as the two next-gen titles, Starfield, and the officially subtitle-lacking The Elder Scrolls VI), and he already knows something that we don’t.
Todd Howard told GameSpot that the sixth numbered The Elder Scrolls game is in the early stages of development (which means Starfield is in an advanced state, and since we wrote about its rumors months ago, it makes sense…), and he also knows when the game will launch, but the publisher won’t bring this issue up for a while, though.
„We’ve taken our time with The Elder Scrolls VI, as opposed to jumping right into it. We know what we want it to be, and that’s going to take time, technology, other things that we need to build to pull it off really. And that’s what that franchise deserves,” Howard said.
So, The Elder Scrolls VI has a release date already. We wouldn’t be surprised if it were Thursday, November 21, 2021, as V: Skyrim came out on the same day in 2011…
