Mechwarrior 5: Mercenaries – which is will be a story-driven Mechwarrior game developed by Piranha Games – was pushed back to 2019.

We know that a new Mechwarrior game is coming for years now, but we had to wait till 2016 for it to officially get announced. Back then the team wanted to release the final game in 2018, but it seems it will not be possible. At least on Twitter, the developers said some words about this delay. They basically need more time to deliver the best single-player Mechwarrior experience to date.

MechCon – which is a regular event centred around the Mechwarrior games – will be held on December 1st in Vancouver. Piranha Games promised that they will share more about the release date by that time and also show us a gameplay demo.
