Sign Ups For The PlayStation 4 6.00 Firmware Beta Test Are Open!

Shortly, Sony will do another massive jump with the system software of the PlayStation 4, and, as always, a few lucky participants can use the new firmware before the others.

Sony Interactive Entertainment tends to make one major firmware improvement each year towards the end of each year. 5.00, 5.50, and now, 6.00 – the Japanese company has announced that registrations are open for the beta test for the first 6.00 firmware. You only have to be over the age of eighteen and have a live PlayStation Plus or a PlayStation Now subscription. You can register until July 27.

Those who have a North American PlayStation Network profile can register here, while the Japanese accounts should look here. The European link isn’t active yet, but Sony should make it work by July 20 – you can sign up from the old continent here.

Perhaps the 6.00 firmware will finally bring the PlayStation Network ID name change, which has been a request for several years. We’re going to find it out shortly.

Still, she likes puzzle and story-oriented games, like Sherlock Holmes: Crimes & Punishments, which is her favourite title. She also played The Sims 3, but after accidentally killing a whole sim family, swore not to play it again. (For our office address, email and phone number check out our IMPRESSUM)
