Insomniac Games‘ Spider-Man was present at the Ani-Com & Games Hong Kong. (Attention: you will hear a ton of Cantonese speech in this video!)
James Stevenson, the devs’ community manager, was playing the game live on the podium while explaining and showing several gameplay elements, such as the Web Bomb, or some tripwire traps.
He also climbed on several buildings, giving us a great sight of Manhattan from the Empire State Building, and he also didn’t skip the Avengers Tower. (We still believe that this building has to be in the game for one reason: they will show up in Spider-Man in a way or another… otherwise, why would this tower be here?)
Stevenson also reveals the location of two hidden backpacks, then moves on to stop a dynamic event in the game’s world (New York City): stopping a bank robbery, which is led by Shocker.
Spider-Man is out on September 7 as a PlayStation 4-exclusive.
