ASUS launches its series of external hard drives with RGB lighting [VIDEO]

TECH NEWS – Are you looking for a stylish external hard drive?

ASUS has made official the launch of its FX series of external hard drives, with capacities of 1 and 2 TB and compatibility with the Aura Sync system, that is, with RGB lighting. The disks themselves are nothing out of the ordinary. They offer USB 3.1 connections at 5 Gbps so that the transfer speed is acceptable. The only thing that makes these units stand out from the rest is the aesthetic and the software that accompanies them.

ASUS FX disks feature 256-bit AES encryption and data compression. Also, it uses an ASMedia 1153E controller to help maximise transfer speeds. Keep in mind that these are 2.5-inch mechanical units, so do not expect overwhelming speeds. In regards to software, ASUS accompanies the FX with programs to facilitate the backup of computer data, as well as mobile devices and even social networks and the cloud. In short, these discs have arrived to show off coloured lights. The last time we were shocked by something like this was with this Lian Li RGB cable.
