It is a complex world of pirates whose trailer seems to have been advanced by mistake.
Apparently, Studio Wildcard will soon expand its catalog beyond the ARK dinosaurs: Survival Evolved with a pirate proposal called Atlas. The game has not been formally presented, but its ad trailer was shared on the Ark channel on Youtube and quickly removed later. Not fast enough, yes, to overcome the most attentive fans and journalists, who have rescued the video on their own channels.
As you can see in it, Atlas -if it is finally called that once it is ready to be shown to the public- occupies somewhere between what is seen in Sea of Thieves (Rare) and Skull and Bones (Ubisoft), with cooperative action for maneuver the ship and fight against hordes of skeletons or unearth treasures, and also naval battles in real time. All this, apparently operated by the same engine that gives life to ARK.
If you want to see first-hand how Studio Wildcard‘s open-world action is, ARK: Survival Evolved is available on PC, PS4 and Xbox One, with versions for Switch and mobile in development. Its latest expansion, Extinction, will arrive on November 6.
