Fortunately, Europe will also get a limited edition of Capcom‘s remade survival horror game. At least we will not get that overpriced keyboard that Japan has for sale…
Previously, we already discussed what the North American Collector’s Edition of Resident Evil 2 Remake would contain, but back then, we only knew that the European edition would be announced at a later date. It happened, so let’s see what we will get for our money.
In the iconic Item Box packaging, we’ll get the Steelbook case, a 12” Leon Kennedy figurine, the Limited Edition R.P.D. keys, a Collector’s item nox, the art book, the soundtrack CD, a “Made in Heaven” pin badge, a poster with the RPD, and the Deluxe DLC Pack card (“Original Version” soundtrack, Leon Kennedy Costumes: Arklay Sheriff and Noir, Claire Redfield Costumes: Military, Noir and Elza Walker, Deluxe Weapon: Samurai Edge – Albert Model). Select European retailers will also offer the Jill and Chris versions of the Samurai Edge to those who pre-order any physical edition of Resident Evil 2.
Resident Evil 2 Remake will launch on January 25 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. There is no exact information about the EU Collector’s Edition pricing yet, but GAME, a UK retailer, has it for 230 GBP (about 290 USD), which means the European price might be 250-260 euros, far more than the 200-dollar NA Collector’s Edition’s price…
