The dogfighting game still has several planes left to be revealed by the dev team.
Although Bandai Namco has shown a ton of aeroplanes recently, Kazutoki Kono, the game’s producer, told DualShockers that „there’s more” to be seen. It means they might be showing some new flyable planes at the Tokyo Game Show, which wouldn’t be surprising, we’d even bet money on it.
„For Ace Combat 7, we have created the 3D models of all the aircraft from scratch. Regarding the amount of work, that was enormous. What we tried to do was to listen to the fans on what is popular among them, and we prioritised those aircraft, trying to implement as many as possible,” Kono said.
As Ace Combat 7: Skies Unknown was formerly delayed, we can expect from the Japanese developers to make up for the delay by adding more planes into the lineup. The game will launch on January 18 on PlayStation 4 (with PlayStation VR support), Xbox One, and PC.
