The purple dragon who originally showed up on the first PlayStation is now just a year away from adulthood (in the US at least).
On September 9, 1998, Spyro the Dragon was launched on the good old PS1. Since then, two decades have passed, and we’ve gone through three console generation changes, and the Twitter video below defines this changes as well to an extent, recapping Spyro’s history. (And the future, as always, is not something we see…)
Happy Anniversary to everyone’s favorite purple dragon. Thanks for being the best fans for the past 20 years! #spyro20th pic.twitter.com/MV7oErKU1E

Toys For Bob, the developers behind Spyro Reignited Trilogy, also celebrated with their unique artwork, which looks excellent:

Spyro‘s website has several more artworks created by fans, as they have used the #Spyro20th hashtag to share their creations with the world. You can find plenty more where it came from!
Spyro Reignited Trilogy was planned to launch in September, but it got delayed to November 13 (possibly because the developers want to put all three games on the disc unlike the original plans, where only the first game would have been on the Blu-ray… but it’s just a rumour!) on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. There’s also a high possibility of a PC and a Nintendo Switch port, too.
