Interesting: Japan already got a Left Alive release date, but the West didn’t.
Square Enix announced that the third-person, mech, survival game, Left Alive (which also features Yoji Shinkawa of Metal Gear Solid fame’s character design) would launch in Japan on February 28 on PlayStation 4 and PC. What about North America and Europe? Unfortunately, we are out of luck, as the publisher only said that the game would hit the shelves in the West on 2019. That’s not promising at all, and we’ve kindly put that term…
„Set during a devastating invasion in war-torn Novo Slava, Left Alive tells a human story of survival. Veteran developers, Toshifumi Nabeshima (director, Armored Core series), Yoji Shinkawa from Kojima Productions (character designer, Metal Gear series), and Takayuki Yanase (mech designer, Ghost in the Shell: Arise, Mobile Suit Gundam 00, Xenoblade Chronicles X) join forces to create Left Alive’s dark and gritty world,” the press release says. The new trailer and the screenshots feature the three protagonists, all having their unique missions and storylines.
Let’s hope we don’t have to wait half a year for the localisation and that we’ll get the Japanese box art, too!
