Kingdom Hearts will also show up on the PlayStation VR.
Square Enix has released a new trailer for Kingdom Hearts III, which switched engines to Unreal Engine 4 during its development. This video shows the new world featuring Big Hero 6.
The game did improve in its visuals, though – DualShockers compared the E3 2013 reveal video with the 2018 Tokyo Game Show one due to having the same scene, and it seems that compared to the early Luminous engine (Final Fantasy XV), Unreal Engine 4 improved almost everything, maybe except for the vivid colours…
A few new screenshots have also arrived, including some renders with Sora and Baymax, the Big Hero 6 world, as well as Kingdom Hearts III‘s box art. It was supervised by the game’s director, Tetsuya Nomura. Have a look:
Also, we read on the PlayStation Blog that during the holiday season, a free PlayStation VR experience is coming. Kingdom Hearts VR Experience will be a roughly ten-minute long „interactive video” with the promise from the devs that we’ll be able to unlock more. It seems we can use Sora’s keyblade with the Move controller.
Kingdom Hearts III‘s Western release is due January 29 (just four days after the Japanese one) on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
