Not a lot of things could stop Square Enix now to finally release Kingdom Hearts III, which they announced no less than five years ago.
Two videos have arrived from the Tokyo Game Show. The first one is from the PlayStation Japan stage event with roughly 24 minutes of gameplay (in case the embedded video doesn’t start at that point, it’s between 09:47 and 33:27), with a bit of a face cam on the top left corner. The other one is from the Square Enix stage event – the roughly ten-minute gameplay video shows a ton of things from combat to using several vehicles. You can even ride Baymax if you wish to do so.
Kingdom Hearts III is going to be one of the first significant games of 2019 (and, looking at the calendar, there will be three in January – the other two would be Ace Combat 7: Skies Unknown and Resident Evil 2 Remake…), which means we might have to grab our wallet after December once again. It seems the gaming industry doesn’t take a break.
Kingdom Hearts III is out four days after the Japanese release in the West, on January 29 on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
