We haven’t heard much from The Last of Us‘ sequel since E3…
PlayStation Music’s YouTube channel has uploaded six songs from The Last of Us Part II. No matter which you click, each video’s description is going to include the year 2019 in brackets. It cannot be a coincidence, although it’s weird that Sony hasn’t deleted the potential release year from the video descriptions yet. So, it means the PlayStation 4-exclusive could be out by the end of next year, although Sony hasn’t confirmed anything yet. Also, it’s not a fake channel! A press release mentions PlayStation Music’s YouTube and Spotify channel!
Also, Outbreak Day happened on September 26. In The Last of Us, on this day, in 2013, the Cordyceps brain infection has reached critical mass. Sony and Naughty Dog celebrate this day, and you can buy a few merch items, but we’d like to focus on one of them. Mondo’s poster has a guy with a beard, a lumberjack shirt, and a guitar. We’d bet money on this person being Joel! (However, we’d not like to guess about the fireflies and the wolf on the poster…)
So, The Last of Us Part II could be out in 2019, and Joel is also likely to be part of the plot, too!
