Is The Next Xbox Getting Revealed This Year?

The next Rocksteady game’s leak (which is getting discussed separately) has mentioned the next Xbox console as well.

The rumours about both the Rocksteady game and the next Microsoft console showed up on 4chan. Back at E3, Microsoft has confirmed that it’s neck deep into developing the next console (or consoles? A previous rumour mentioned another piece of hardware focused on streaming!).

Well, Mexico will have an Xbox event called XO18, where Microsoft might repeat what they did with the Xbox One X. First, they could create a small teaser for the console which is codenamed Scarlett, and then the next-gen hardware would be „properly” revealed early next year. (And guess what? Sony might not be far behind them either with the PlayStation 5…)

This rumour seems too detailed to be true, which could mean it’s a hoax. We’ll see soon: the XO18 event will be held in Mexico City in November, and then, we’ll find out if it was a rumour or not altogether.
