The fans would like if Shirley Curry‘s character would be eternalized in The Elder Scrolls VI.

You can find Curry’s YouTube channel here. She plays The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim. The twist here is that she is 82 years old! The petition started from a comment she wrote under a video that predicts The Elder Scrolls VI‘s release date:

„Well, I guess that puts the nail in my coffin, literally! When Skyrim 6 [sic!] comes out, I’ll be 88! So I probably won’t get to play it, so I’m going to quit dreaming for it!” (Skyrim 6 is a typo on her end, and with quick math, we can figure out that The Elder Scrolls VI could launch in 2024.) Reddit took things into its hands: phantom-scribbler started a Change.org petition to make Bethesda Game Studios include Shirley Curry either as an NPC, a weapon, or a location. At the time of writing, 10054 people have signed it (and by the time this sentence ends, it’s at 10065 – the number is increasing fast!), which means Bethesda cannot ignore such a large amount of people…

„As Bethesda has demonstrated with another fan named Erik West, they are willing to include dedicated fans of their series into their games,” phantom-scribbler wrote, who added in another post that „Grandma Shirley” should receive a Skyrim mod. She supports the notion: she even offered to record unique voice clips if necessary. The subject is discussed here.

As Bethesda has previously proven to help fans with even engagement via Fallout 76, we hope they will show some support once again for an actual veteran player…
