BioWare‘s next game might decide the fate of the studio altogether…
Electronic Arts expects Anthem to be successful and generate a lot of money. Live services and the like, but before the game launches properly, it’ll get a closed alpha, announced by the devs. It will run from December 8 to December 9, and you can already register on this website. You will need an EA account; then you can choose which platform (PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PC) would you like to test Anthem on. You better register quickly as it’s on a first come, first served basis – if you are lucky, you’ll not only get a confirmation on the website but also receive an email with further details to play Anthem, if you have an active PlayStation Plus/Xbox Live Gold subscription.
The game will also show up on The Game Awards – Geoff Keighley, the runner of TGA, announced on Twitter that Casey Hudson, the general manager of BioWare, will show up at the event, reveal more details about Anthem, which will also get a new trailer.
The Game Awards will start on December 6, at 5:30 PM Pacific / 8:30 PM Eastern, or December 7, 1:30 AM UK / 2:30 AM CET. Anthem will launch on February 22 on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
