The Power Armor Edition of Fallout 76 should have had a canvas duffel bag. It didn’t. There’s some sales information about the game, too.
NPD Group has released its November statistics (which we mostly discussed separately), and Fallout 76 got mentioned, too. However, the results aren’t crystal clear, as Bethesda doesn’t want to reveal any digital sales information (or ANY sales figures for that matter…), even though NPD can now track these as well. Despite this clusterf_ck, Fallout 76 was the fourth best selling physical game in the United States. While it does sound good on paper, two other Fallout games had had a better launch month, namely 4 and New Vegas.
On Reddit, there’s a discussion about how Bethesda is sending an email to those who have already confirmed that they bought Fallout 76’s Power Armor Edition for a good 200 dollars. Initially, it was announced that it would come with a canvas duffel bag, but when the game shipped, the people got a cheap nylon bag. Well, we now know that Bethesda wants us to „allow 4-6 months for manufacturing and delivery.” In the meantime, the Power Armor customers will get another 500 atoms in the game, which means now they have ten dollars worth of currency that they can barely buy anything with, as discussed yesterday!
Fallout 76 is hard to mention in a positive manner, especially how Bethesda might light itself on fire if they indeed end up launching the lunchboxes (loot boxes), which are already in the game’s files. The people will not like that…
