Square Enix‘ game will be slightly bigger on Sony’s console than on Microsoft’s Xbox One.
A Japanese tweet shows the Japanese box in multiple images, and one of them shows that the PlayStation 4 version will require 40 gigabytes to install Kingdom Hearts III which has been in development for several years. It’s slightly more than the Xbox One‘s 35.76 GB digital install – what on Earth does take the extra space on Sony’s console? Is the free Kingdom Hearts VR Experience (which is coming to PlayStation VR) part of the package? It could be a plausible explanation behind the significant difference.
Kingdom Hearts III, which was leaking during December (the leaker has been „caught” since…), is going to be one of the first big games of 2019. It will launch on January 29 on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, four days after the Japanese release date (January 25).
