It seems that the next Alien will be part of a ‘cross-media’ project.
In the last hours, the official account of the universe Alien on Twitter has shared a publication that seems to evidence the arrival of a new video game based on the popular movie horror series. The tweet in question promotes the story and personality of Amanda Ripley, daughter of Ellen Ripley and protagonist of Alien: Isolation, but does not specify in which game we can continue his exploits.
Although the ‘teaser trailer’ that accompanies the publication is quite austere in terms of clues, at the end of it we can see a label that says ” Read, Play. Without further information, it seems quite likely that we are facing a project ‘cross-media’ that is not only linked to video games but also has its own series, film, novel or comic. How could it be otherwise, we invite you to stay tuned to the news with a simple “soon”.
Anyway, it seems that we will have playable material from Alien at some point nearby, and there we do have several cards to shuffle. On the one hand, it could be a sequel to the game of SEGA and Creative Assembly, while on the other hand, we have a series of evidence collected in the final stretch of 2018 that point to a game called Alien: Blackout that would feature multiplayer features.
Daughter. Rebel. Hero. Her story deserves to be told…
