Details About The Last Of Us Part II’s Multiplayer: Microtransactions?

The game mode called Factions revealed a few new details.

Naughty Dog, the game’s developers, posted several job listings at the end of the previous year. One of them is for a multiplayer server programmer. Its description says a lot: „We are looking for a server programmer who loves constructing a scalable, stable, and secure ecosystem of services for players to enjoy. You will usher them through the entire multiplayer experience, from the first login, through matchmaking, and then granting rewards players can use to customize their characters in the store. As one of the caretakers of the live environment, you will be a critical part of the team that launches the game’s services.”

Character customization is not an issue, but the new addition is the STORE! This information is something we haven’t heard before. We have yet to see if The Last of Us Part II would come with dedicated servers or not. (Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End didn’t have them.)

The PlayStation 4-exclusive The Last of Us Part II has no release date yet.

Still, she likes puzzle and story-oriented games, like Sherlock Holmes: Crimes & Punishments, which is her favourite title. She also played The Sims 3, but after accidentally killing a whole sim family, swore not to play it again. (For our office address, email and phone number check out our IMPRESSUM)
