Is Ubisoft Planning A Splinter Cell Announcement, Or Are They Just Messing With Us?

Another sign points towards Sam Fisher’s return in some format.

It’s been a long time since 2013 when Splinter Cell: Blacklist launched. Since then, Sam Fisher did not get a new game (although Jade Raymond, who previously worked at Ubisoft, putting together the foundations of Assassin’s Creed, said there were plans – we wrote about it before). However, Luca Ward’s Facebook post is suspicious. Who is Luca Ward? He’s the Italian voice of Sam Fisher.

On the photo, we see Sam Fisher’s traditional night vision goggle lights behind Ward, and while he tends to use his Splinter Cell history in his social media posts, maybe this time, it’s not just Ubisoft messing with us.

If they do that, though, then Yves Guillemot, the CEO of Ubisoft, should finally stop hinting at Sam Fisher, as we’re starting to be fed up with it. (MAYBE they will announce something at E3 – they didn’t do so a year ago!)

Still, she likes puzzle and story-oriented games, like Sherlock Holmes: Crimes & Punishments, which is her favourite title. She also played The Sims 3, but after accidentally killing a whole sim family, swore not to play it again. (For our office address, email and phone number check out our IMPRESSUM)
