MOVIE NEWS – The Monster Hunter-film, which is led by Paul W. S. Anderson and Milla Jovovich (the married couple were the director and star of the Resident Evil films, respectively…), is still at least a year away from hitting the big screen.
Sony Pictures announced that the Monster Hunter cinematic adaptation, which is being made by Constantin Films and is being written, directed, and produced by Anderson, will star Jovovich, Ron Perlman, Tony Jaa, Diego Boneta, and T.I. will debut in cinemas on September 4, 2020. It means we have to wait at least one and a half years for the film of the franchise that gained worldwide success and popularity in 2018.
„Behind our world, there is another — a world of dangerous and powerful monsters that rule their domain with deadly ferocity. When Lt. Artemis (Jovovich) and her loyal soldiers are transported from our world to the new world, the unflappable lieutenant receives the shock of her life. In her desperate battle for survival against enormous enemies with incredible powers and unstoppable, terrifying attacks, Artemis will team up with a mysterious man (Tony Jaa) who has found a way to fight back,” the synopsis says.
So Capcom’s next cinematic foray will be in September 2020…
