Its leaders take note of the mistakes and successes of the past.
In a recent interview with IGN, Bonnie Ross (president of 343 Industries) was talking about Halo Infinite and the perspective of the studio at a creative level. In one of his comments, Ross indicated that they internally speak of Infinite as a “spiritual reboot,” a version of Halo that is more faithful to original ideas but strives to bring something new. Probably, it is also the reason why he has not presented himself as Halo 6.
Of course, in all ‘reboot’ it is necessary to look back. “We have spent a lot of time in introspective to reflect what we have done as 343,” explains Ross. ” Where have we made mistakes? Where have we hit the spot? What does Halo mean for all of us? That Halo Infinite trailer we made is what Halo means for study.”
Although they often say that a picture is worth a thousand words, Ross complemented the trailer by appealing to the values they currently assign to Halo: “It’s about hope, discovery, heroism, humanity, community and bringing a community together. It was the trailer, and that’s what we want to achieve. ” This may tell us rather little about the game, but a few days ago we reported that Halo Infinite could implement RPG and dialogue system, something that may fit the vision of 343 Industries.
