One of the last major PlayStation 4-exclusive games might already have an exact release date done and dusted…
The newest Destination PlayStation was held between February 25 and 28. It’s been a long-running event (mainly for retailers, the investors, the journalists, and developers), and it was held behind closed doors once again. Multiple games were part of the promotion, including Death Stranding, Ghost of Tsushima, Days Gone, and Naughty Dog’s next title, The Last of Us Part II. One of them, Days Gone, already has a set, public release date.
Let’s add a Peruvian retailer’s image (see the second screenshot), which mentions The Last of Us Part II will come out in October. It was deleted, but a ResetEra post came and said it’s going to be available from October 25. It’s a Friday, it’s reasonable (and the same can be said about Death Stranding and Ghost of Tsushima getting out to the stores/PlayStation Store by the end of the year as well).
Of course, take all this information with a grain of salt. Perhaps Sony will reveal everything at the next PlayStation Experience (or whatever their E3 replacement event will be called…), but October doesn’t seem to be a bad launch window.
