TECH NEWS – We have previously heard of Samsung that their mobiles have issues. Here’s another potential proof of it!
A Nigerian Twitter user has posted that he had to throw his Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge into a bucket of water to avoid an explosion. It’s already scary, but the mobile caught flames on its own this time around! (We wonder if it’s fake or not… who knows?) Thus, no wonder that previously, Samsung had to suspend manufacturing the Galaxy Note7 line of products.
On the pictures, you can see that both the front and the back of the phone was burning, and – as expected – the fire seems to have started from the battery. We need to repeat that this case (which ended positively sans the phone’s death…) happened without Samsung’s product being hooked onto a charger! Samsung South Africa has already contacted the user to provide more information about the incident, and he possibly has to send the phone to Samsung in order to investigate the product. (And it’s likely that Samsung will not publish the investigation’s results either…)
As the lithium-ion polymer batteries (which caused trouble for Xiaomi and Motorola as well before) are dangerous, no wonder that everyone recommends using official, licensed products to charge your electric devices…
