Judgment Might Get A PC Port!

Judgment, which has already launched in Japan on PlayStation 4 as Judge Eyes, has finally got through the Pierre Taki-drug scandal, so now, we can write about the game from another – and positive! – aspect about the title which was developed by the Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio (the devs of Yakuza).

There’s an interview on IGN Japan with the producer of Judge Eyes/Judgment, Kazuki Hosokawa. It was translated on ResetEra. He talked about how the team is interested in more than releasing the game on PlayStation 4, including „other formats” to „increase their player base.”

While Hosokawa quickly ruled out the Nintendo Switch port, he didn’t have the same approach about a potential PC version: „I think the hurdles have been lowered by putting [Yakuza] on Steam. I think that we were able to increase the player base because people who do not have a PlayStation 4 can also play the games. At present, [Judgment] has not been decided yet, but it is considered as one of the options. We are in the process of considering the possibilities not only for Steam but also for other formats,” Hosokawa said.

Going by the last sentence, let’s hope that Judgment will not be a timed Epic Games Store-exclusive on PC. Recently, there hasn’t been a week without a major game either moving there or announcing a launch first on that store on PC

Judgment is out on June 25 in the West on PlayStation 4.
