Techland‘s game has been confirmed to participate in the June event, which will be slightly „thinner” than last year, as Sony will not participate in E3 2019…
We haven’t seen much of Dying Light 2 until now, even though it was announced almost a year ago, at E3 2018, during Microsoft’s press conference. Techland published a small video on Twitter with the following message: „We’re bringing Dying Light 2 to E3. We can’t wait to show you the latest look at our most ambitious project to date. See you there!”
As Sony will stay away from E3 this year, we can expect the Polish developers to be part of Microsoft’s show once again. We should expect a lot of gameplay, as well as a release date (or even a release window…) from Techland this year in June.
Currently, all we know about the not-Dead Island Dying Light 2 is that it is being developed for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. Yes, not-Dead Island: Techland previously worked on that series, but instead of making a sequel (which has been in development at Sumo Digital for years, and they recently flopped heavily with Crackdown 3…), they went with Warner to create a new IP…
And if you expect something new from the fifteen-second Twitter video, don’t: nothing of interest has been shown in it, but it’s still better than nothing…
