MOVIE NEWS – Jared Leto, Oscar winner in 2014 for his performance in the drama “Dallas Buyers Club”, is in discussion to be part of the distribution of “Little Things” alongside Denzel Washington and Rami Malek, reveals the Hollywood Reporter.
Distributed by Warner Bros, “Little Things” will be written and directed by the American filmmaker John Lee Hancock, to whom we have notably “In the shadow of Mary”, with Emma Thompson, and more recently “The Highwaymen”.
The story follows Deke (Denzel Washington), deputy sheriff of Kern County, California, who teams up with Detective Baxter (Rami Malek) to stop a clever serial killer. The latter would be embodied by Jared Leto if the negotiations succeed.
The filming of “Little Things” will begin this fall.
Note that Jared Leto has a special connection with Warner Bros. The star collaborated with the studio for two blockbusters, “Blade Runner 2049” and “Suicide Squad”.
