Panzer Dragoon Remake Is Heading To PC, Too [VIDEO]

Panzer Dragoon Remake has been confirmed for two platforms by this point.

Until now, all we knew that Panzer Dragoon is going to show up on the Nintendo Switch. Out of the two remakes (the first two games are getting a makeover) that were announced in December 2018, we are talking about the first title. So Forever Entertainment wrote the following on Twitter: „Watch out for Panzer Dragoon landing right into the… Steam Store! Visit Steam and add Panzer Dragoon: Remake to your Wishlist!”, and then they linked the Steam page, which you can find by clicking here. There’s still no info about an exact release date: the Steam page says this winter, and this applies to the Nintendo Switch port. The Switch will also get a physical version, too.

„It’s somewhat unexpected to see something from them (look at their games, which don’t even seem to include Fear Effect: Sedna…). Panzer Dragoon launched in 1995 on the SEGA Saturn, and it’s a decent rail shooter. Its sequel, Panzer Dragoon II Zwei, followed a year later. The press release doesn’t even say much (in fact, it goes off-topic, as it mentions the Xbox One-support of the 2002 Xbox game, Panzer Dragoon Orta), but we should quote a paragraph that only talks about the first game…

„The new version of the game will be characterised by completely new graphics compatible with today’s standards and several modifications of the game, making it more attractive to modern players, while remaining faithful to the original regarding story. The first materials from the game will be presented in the upcoming months!” First, what kind of modifications? Also, „modern players?”,” we wrote in December. Still… that modern players thought is scaring us.

So Panzer Dragoon’s remake  will show up this winter on Steam and the Nintendo Switch. No idea when Panzer Dragoon II Zwei Remake will show up, though.
