Bayonetta & Vanquish 10th Anniversary Bundle: It’ll Be Available Physically, Too [VIDEO]

After PlatinumGames’ two previous games’ re-release got leaked via the Microsoft Store, it was about time that SEGA announced that Bayonetta & Vanquish are both heading to PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.

The physical version will contain a Steelbook that will have a never seen before art of each game, produced by Weapons Van, and supervised by Hideki Kamiya and SEGA (the former makes sense, as he was the director of Bayonetta – however, Vanquish’s director, Shinji Mikami, is at Tango Gameworks, so he can’t be part of the project). „This was a dream project for us at Weapons Van and we cannot thank Sega and PlatinumGames enough for this opportunity to apply our art direction to the Bayonetta & Vanquish 10th Anniversary Bundle covers. We love both titles and handpicked Dan Dussault because we knew he could knock it out of the park with his attention to detail and his ability to capture motion in his art,” said Weapons Van in a press release.

Both Bayonetta and Vanquish will run on 4K resolution with 60 frames per second on PlayStation 4 Pro and Xbox One X, but we have yet to see if it will be a native resolution or not. The two games will be available digitally separately for 25 dollars each, but the bundle will cost 40 both physically and digitally. The PlayStation Store pre-orders include the following two exclusive static PlayStation 4 themes: Bayonetta & Vanquish Theme – Available instantly for all digital pre-orders, will not be available at or after launch; Bayonetta & Vanquish 10th Anniversary Theme – Available for a limited time for all pre-orders and purchases up to March 3, 2020—two weeks after launch.

The bundle will launch on February 18 on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One – the Steelbook might make it a quick sale.
