PlayStation Plus – We hit the last Wednesday of the month, so it’s time to see what we’ll get for our money aside from the ability to play PlayStation 4 games online.
The Spanish PlayStation YouTube account posted in its Community tab the other day. It got deleted, but – as always – the Internet never forgets, as their post got screencapped:
They say that on Wednesday, at 5:30 PM CET, they will reveal what the February PlayStation Plus games will be. One of them will be a „very well-known saga.” The image below the post hints at Crash Bandicoot: N. Sane Trilogy. It contains Crash Bandicoot, Crash Bandicoot: Cortex Strikes Back, and Crash Bandicoot: Warped, originally developed by Naughty Dog for the PS1, and remastered by Vicarious Visions, making it a hit in the Summer of 2017, followed by a Nintendo Switch, PC and Xbox One port a year later.
Unfortunately, we can forget about Crash. He’s not in the list. Instead, we’re getting different titles. The first one is BioShock: The Collection, which comes with three games (BioShock, BioShock 2, BioShock Infinite) – these are somewhat old games, but they are still enjoyable even today. The second game is surprising because of its publisher: we wouldn’t expect Electronic Arts to give away a game, but they have done just that with The Sims 4. Surprisingly, there’s also the third title, but it will only benefit PlayStation VR-owners: Firewall Zero Hour is a 4v4 tactical multiplayer shooter.
So lucky players can play five games from February 4 until March 2, so you still have a few days to get the January games. We can still be critical: recently, we get old games’ re-release collections in Plus. The Sims 4 might not fit everyone (it’s not exactly a hardcore game), and if you don’t have a PlayStation VR, you can’t play the fifth game…
What will March bring?
