The ESRB has rated the new Sucker Punch with an M (Mature) for its violent acts.
With less than a month to go to launch, Ghost of Tsushima has finally entered its Gold phase finishing its development. The new Sucker Punch is one of the most anticipated releases of the year for PlayStation 4 and we already have a pretty solid idea of what awaits us.
Samurai-style fighting with sword crosses, assassinations from behind with stealth and a lot of violence, that is a small advance that offers us the description published by the ESRB, the North American body that classifies content by age. This time Ghost of Tsushima has been rated an M, or “not suitable for those under the age of 17.”
“Players will use samurai swords, poison darts, and bows to fight enemies in close combat style,” the description begins. “Accompanied by blood spatter, players can also kill (for example, stabbing in the neck or piercing with the sword) to silently eliminate enemies .”
Beheadings, acts of intense violence and mutilations are also mentioned, making special mention of scenes that show us a decapitated human head looking directly at the screen. Besides, partial nudes are also mentioned, such as the buttocks of a man who is taking a bath in hot springs.
We already know that the battles of Ghost of Tsushima will be tough and that the possibility of eliminating our enemies with a single blow, in true Samurai movie style, will remain at all times. The new Sucker Punch will arrive on PS4 on July 17.
