According to a recent rumor, Microsoft will not limit its capabilities to just two Xbox Series X consoles, three versions may come!
We’ve known for weeks now that Sony is making two versions for the next generation. Microsoft, on the other hand, is very discreet about the issue, even though there are already quite a few rumors on the matter.
Further mentions for Lockhart are scattered throughout the Xbox One OS – including the development tools and more. Raises interest given @XB1_HexDecimal‘s information. pic.twitter.com/sLFmp3XTi5

Of course, we have known for several months that there will be an Xbox Series S, but according to more recent information, not even a third version is ruled out.
A Twitter user who wanted to prove the existence of the Xbox Series S with images based on traces of code snippets found on the Xbox One operating system ignited the wick under another gunpowder barrel: he discovered the existence of a mysterious Edinburgh project that could cause a lot of excitement among fans.
Xbox Anaconda = Xbox Series X
Xbox Lockhart = Xbox Series “S”
Xbox Edinburgh = ???? ?— Jez (@JezCorden) July 3, 2020
However, Jez Corden from Windows Central advises us not to look into the matter too much because it might just be a line of code related to XCloud technology.
But which one is true? Maybe a new console, a VR headset, maybe really just XCloud?
What does the new code name hide? We will tell you as soon as we can.
